Don't forget to say hi in the forum!

This is my personal exploration of webpage creation. I use ASP classic to get the active content going. I also know PHP and have other stuff on a friends Linux server. I know little of client side scripting but am starting to learn some. The content of these pages will be mostly server side. I’ve been playing with ASP for a while but my skills with it are novice. The newer stuff like ASP.NET I’ve really tried to get on board with. While it’s easy enough I find all the canned modules very restricting. Needless to say I do use it, but not for the stuff here. This site will be broken from time to time mostly because I like to fiddle with it when I get bored. Look at the site leave a mark and report any freaky errors in the forums, that is if they’re working. ;0)

Personal web pages are World Wide Web pages created by an individual to contain content of a personal nature. The content can be about that person or about something he or she is interested in. Personal web pages can be the entire content of a domain name belonging to the person (which would then be a personal website), or can be a page or pages that are part of a larger domain on which other pages are located - an example of one such larger site is GeoCities. Another example would be a student's website for school. Personal web pages are often used solely for informative or entertainment purposes. Defining personal web page is difficult, because many domains or combinations of web pages that are under the control of a single individual can be used by the individual for commercial purposes, ranging from just the presentation of advertising, to electronic commerce: the sale of goods, services or information; in fact eBay began as the personal web page of Pierre Omidyar. -wikipedia

In the not so distant future, our planet has tuned out the fact that unlike a century ago, our life span has shortened to a fraction from what it used to be. This is because of an infectious virus generated by our own scientists infected most of our population on and off our planet within the first three years of its outbreak. A mutated strain of the flu, when introduced to a human reduces our lifespan to 27 years. It’s almost like watching Logan's run with the lack of middle aged or old folks. ...

Dark Balance, (Sci-Fi) ...Read More!...
Nature is adaptive, so much that if a child is born blind, his other senses can compensate for the loss of sight. Most of the documented cases are in line with what we've all heard or read, people will use one or two of the other senses to make up for the one that is lost. This "balance" is our physiology's way to help the sense impaired to function. It all has to do with sensory input; a man with four senses will get about the same amount of sensory input as a man with 5 senses because of the ...

Just made the forum functional. It was a part of another site when I wrote it some of the formatting had to be changed among other things. There are a few places still where things don't work well with this page, THey'll be slowly worked out. Links was added as a database driven tool, and the forums also had different subjects added.

Going well here for a side project. News administration started the ball rolling and that template will be used as a core for the other applications like applications, permissions and others. First drafts with little error handling are done and need to be boned up with the evil characters.

Nothing going on here, just starting from scratch a website template, thats less complicated than the last one I've created. It takes a bit to deploy the last one. More straight forward here applications are seperated. Though some of the reporting will remain the same.
